"What should I do Wally?"…
"I don't know Beaver, let's ask Dad"...

 

This phrase was heard weekly on the “Leave It To Beaver” show, back in the 1960’s. It usually involved “Beaver” being caught up in some sort of dilemma. He would turn to his older brother “Wally” for advice. When Wally drew a blank, they’d turn to “Dad”. They were seeking “consultation”.
